The next litter cleanup on the Illinois River is scheduled Saturday,September 27 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Arrowhead Resort and Diamond Head Resort are participating in this event. A hot dog lunch will be free to volunteers taking part in the cleanup.
This event is part of the Tidy Up Tenkiller Shoreline Cleanup sponsored by the Oklahoma Ozarks Tourism Association and is supported in part by Save the Illinois River members’ contributions.
OOTA also plans a Tenkiller Lake trash cleanup on Saturday October 4th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
