[Archived] Hearing Set on Blue River Inclusion

On Thursday, December 1, 2005, the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission (OSRC) will conduct a Public Hearing at Tishomingo, Oklahoma. All interested individuals are cordially invited to attend this Public Hearing.



The Public Hearing is for the purpose to present and discuss Senate Bill 1019. Senate Bill 1019, authored by Senator J. Paul Gumm and State Representative Paul Roan is pending consideration in the upcoming Second Session of the Fiftieth Oklahoma Legislature to convene in February 2006.



Senate Bill 1019 proposes to amend the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Act, O.S. 82 Sections 1451 – 1471, designating those portions of the Blue River located in Johnston County, Oklahoma, as an Oklahoma Scenic River Area.



The Public Hearing will be held at the Tishomingo Community Center, beginning at 7:00pm. The Tishomingo Community Center is located at 816 East 6th Street, Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
